This week contains some of the best astrology of the year. Jupiter, the Santa Claus of the zodiac, will be having harmonious conversations with the Sun, Venus and the moon. It’s a good week to have a good week. Your sense of self, the things you value in your heart, and your emotional needs will be illuminated and expanded.
Just because the Universe is giving us a big thumbs up, doesn’t mean we feel 100% on our game. With the eclipses behind us, we’re integrating the changes we experienced this season. They may have been physical, mental, emotional, or perhaps all three, but we need to give ourselves space to process whatever the season unveiled.
We’ve also got a finger of God, a Yod, in the sky that was pointing at Mars last week and is pointing at the Sun this week. The Universe is letting you know that you’ve got what it takes to be the star of your own show. It’s Leo season after all and that means it’s time to be seen! Leo people are known for their effortless confidence on stage, see if you can embody that energy as you move through the week.
The astrology is incredibly fortuitous this week, but it’s also a reminder to be a little selfish. You see sometimes we need to be a little selfish with our time, our energy, and our resources so that we can show up fully for our friends, families, and work. There is no glory in burning the candle at both ends. If you’ve been doing that this summer, or this year, or this lifetime, you might be feeling a pull to go inward and re-strategize how you operate.
Leo is a fixed fire sign, meaning it has staying power. You can’t have staying power if you’re going 100 MPH 24/7.
This week I encourage you to ask yourself these questions:
What sparks joy for me and me alone?
What does my heart want? Is it different from what I think the world wants to see from me?
How can I play more? Have more fun? Evoke a child like wonder?
Come Sunday we have a big shift in energy as Mercury (still in its retrograde shadow) shifts into Leo, Jupiter stations direct, and Uranus stations retrograde. Hello whiplash!
One last thing, I know the world can feel so dark right now, but Jupiter teaches us to look to our blessings, to embrace the goodness in humanity, and to be open to miracles. Don’t forget to allow yourself to receive the goodness in your life, especially the seemingly insignificant small stuff like the perfect iced coffee on a hot day, a smile from a stranger, or binge watching the final season of Jane the Virgin while the summer rain pours down.
